Hey folks,

Just as a matter of interest ... what is the process for getting promotion to Level 4?

I've just been successful in my 6-5 promotion

and looking for the next goal to set myself. However, the 7-5 steps are all nice and clear - but the step to Level 4 is shrouded in mystery.

Any of you guys there (and above

) got any advice, guidance etc?

Firstly...Congratulations

Getting to L4 is a two stage process from L5

Firstly you need to be invited

Then you need to pass the fitness test, 2500 Metres

You will also have to complete a qualifying number of middles and lines

Remember its not a race to the premiership take your time and enjoy your current level, if your good enough you will rise up the ladder

Anyone any idea what the process is for transfering to a different assosciation... ie Northern Ireland to England?

You need to present a Letter of Reference detailing your current level and experience from your home association to your new County FA (wherever in the UK you end up).

It will then be up to your new County FA as to which Level they place you at.

And forgot to add - you have to have a postal address within that country to be able to register

I've still no idea how I got Level 4.

Enjoyed my first season though. Love lining at Contrib level.
